Professional Development Request Form
Any staff member seeking approval to attend a workshop/conference must complete a Google Form to provide details surrounding the professional development event. The link to the Google Form is unique to each school/office, as it will be shared directly with building/office administration for review and approval.

Please be reminded of the following:
Approval must be granted by your building principal/supervisor prior to Board of Education approval.
All workshops requiring a payment or an absence must be approved by the Board of Education prior to the workshop.
The Curriculum Office will handle registration and/or payment, unless a staff member is directed otherwise.
The administration reserves the right to deny a request to attend a workshop if it does not apply directly to the staff member’s current position.
The district will not approve out-of-state professional development.
The district will not approve a multi-day professional development event that requires an overnight stay, except under specific circumstances.
The district will approve one Professional Day and allow an employee to use one Personal Day in the event that a staff member wishes to attend a multi-day workshop.
