The purpose of the Book Club is to expose students to new, student-recommended books. Students run their own discussions and decide on new books to read each month.

Chess Club is designed to allow students to learn and expand their skills in the game of chess. Students also learn and expand their critical thinking skills in a positive environment. Chess Club promotes positive sportsmanship and social interaction.

The Creative Writing Club guides writers through the creative writing process. From character development to pacing, the CWC will give writers the tools to write a story.

Crusader Chronicles is the middle school online newsletter. Students work collaboratively with the junior and senior editors to create a fun issue for every month. We publish various articles, stories, reviews, interviews, etc. Students meet monthly to discuss topics.

Dance Club is a select group of students who meet on a weekly basis to explore a variety of dance genres. Members choreograph and practice dances that culminate in an end-of-year performance.

Debate Club gives students of all abilities a fun way of developing their oracy skills. Students participate in a range of activities that helps with their critical thinking and confident communication. Debate Club also help students to become more informed about the world around them.

This club focuses on enhancing the digital media skills of students. Students have an opportunity to create digital logos, posters, banners, videos, invitations, and more.

This club focuses on the environment and the impact we can have on the environment. We work on a climate solutions project for most of the school year and then we maintain the school garden the rest of the year!

The Finance Club is run by a program called TREP$. In this program, the students learn about creating their own business and how to become a successful business owner. At the end of the program, the students participate in the Marketplace where they sell their homemade products or provide a service, such as selling snacks, or hosting a game.

The Gaming Club is an extracurricular social experience for all Elmwood Park Memorial Middle Schoolers who are interested. At Gaming Club, students will be provided an opportunity to engage in both competitive and noncompetitive strategic gaming. All gamers must adhere to the ground rules at all times or risk having their club membership revoked. All games will be of an appropriate age/rating level (only games rated T (Teen) and E (Everyone) will be played).

The GSA club is for LGBT students and allies to learn more about LBGT in our community and how we can support our community such that everyone is accepted for who they are. We play games to learn more about the LGBT community, discuss important current events, and learn more about one another as a school.

The EPHS Crusader Marching Band is the most visible ensemble in the EPHS Music department. The Marching Band performs at almost all football games and also in marching band competitions and festivals around Northern New Jersey. The group starts in August during summer break and continues through the first week of November. The marching band also marches in parades through the town.

The purpose of the musical production is to provide an opportunity for students interested in all aspects of theatre (onstage and backstage) to learn about theatre and perform for their peers and community. Actors, singers, dancers, pit band musicians, technicians (lights and sound), stage managers, set designers, makeup, hair, costume, and stage crew all play an important role in the annual musical production.

The NJHS is a program to acknowledge students' academic success. The club allows these student leaders to provide services to their classmates through peer tutoring and providing services to the school and the community.

Poetry Club gets together to read and analyze various poems chosen by students and the advisor. We also learn about different styles of poetry and work on creating our own poems.

The Polish Club officially started in December of 2019. The Polish Club was created to expose students of different backgrounds to the Polish culture and educational experiences. The goal has been to simply embrace the Polish culture, traditions, folklore, and dances! Polish Club members will continue to partake in various activities throughout the year.

The Spanish Club is dedicated to promoting the Spanish language and the culture of Hispanic countries. The Spanish Club embraces the Spanish culture and traditions.

The Student Congress is a representative government voice of the Elmwood Park student body. It takes action on the students' behalf in all areas of their educational and social existence, and is the organization through which the student body can take collective action on any matter of general concern. Officers and representatives are elected each year.

The volunteer club is also known as a service club. We try to serve the community by participating in town and school-sponsored events, including community day, Townwide Cleanup, environmental day, and more. We also collect items for charity, including canned food and supplies and can pull tabs.
