    Single Session   8:45 AM - 1:00 PM

    Students should not arrive at the school grounds prior to 8:30 a.m. Supervision is not provided before this time.

    If you have any questions or comments please contact your child’s homeroom teacher or the main office as needed. 

    The main office is open from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. 


    Student Arrival & Dismissal

    Preschool:  Apgar, Kunkel & Zuza      
    14th Ave parking lot Pre-K doors

    Kindergarten - Glass Gym Doors facing 15th Avenue

    Grade 1 - 14th Ave. Main doors

    Grades 2 & 3 - 16th Ave. Main doors

             Grades 4 & 5 - 16th Ave. side doors (by apartments)

    Be advised, older sibling(s) may be sent to the youngest child’s location for dismissal, upon parent request.

    For arrival, parents are encouraged to drop-off older siblings at the “youngest arrival area locations.”

    Students should depart from school grounds immediately after dismissal time at 3:15 p.m. unless they are remaining for tutoring, detention, or participation in extracurricular activities.

    Excused/Early Departure
    Students are not permitted to leave early except in an emergency. With prior approval of the principal, any student in need of early dismissal must present a note signed by a parent or guardian to the classroom teacher upon arrival to class (AM). The note must state the cause for the request.The parent or guardian must call for the student in the office of the principal. In the event someone other than a parent or guardian has parental permission to call for a student, that person must be prepared to show a driver's license to be photocopied by the school administration.

    We will utilize the following morning drop-off procedures:
    Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 - Students will go directly to the homerooms and sit down in class lines.
    Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5 - Students will line up outside on the blacktop each morning, weather permitting.
