If your child attends elementary school and your child is going to be absent, please call the nurse's office and let the nurse know the reason for the absence. If there is no answer, please leave a message with the child's name, reason for absence, and teacher's name.
If your child has a temperature higher than 100.4, he/she needs to stay home until the child is fever free for 24 hours without medication.
If your child has diarrhea or vomiting, please keep him/her home until the child has gone 24 hours without any diarrhea or vomiting.
Any child that develops a fever greater than 100.4, or vomits or has diarrhea, will be automatically sent home and not allowed to return to school for at least 24 hours.
